On February 6, 2015, The Grove school with great splendour and pomp celebrated its Decennial Annual Day at Sivagami Petatchi Auditorium.

Owing to the completion of a decade the theme was based on the 10 roles of Lord Vishnu in “DASHAVATHARAM”. The stage was filled with celestial bodies and it wore a heavenly ambience.  The programme began with an invocation. Mr. Prashanth Krishna, Correspondent welcomed the gathering. The chief guest, Ms. Kausalya Devi, Hony. Consul of France presided over the function. Dr. Nanditha Krishna, President of CPRAF welcomed the gathering. The annual report  was read by Mrs. Kala Doraisamy, Principal. The meritorious students were awarded with certificates and prizes for their excellent performance in academics.

The most prestigious award “A.R Jagannathan Award “ was awarded to the school topper, Veera Venkatesh in the ICSE Board Examination that was held in March 2014.  Revathey, Std. X was awarded “Shakunthala Jagannathan Award” for the best outgoing student.

Our Vice Principal Mrs. S.M. Sujatha proposed the vote of thanks. The audience had a visual and an aural treat. The first and the foremost avatar of Lord Vishnu “Matsaya” was depicted by our students impeccably. The audience were spell bound and were in high spirits until our students ended with the final incarnation of Lord Vishnu  “The Kalki Avatar”.

The paramount event was a classical dance which was a compilation of the avatars of Lord Vishnu. The performance of the students deserves an applause. The Lord Vishnu’s avatars showcased the virtues which one had to follow in one’s life to sustain serenity and morality in the world.
