The South Africa trip for the International cricket tournament amongst renowned schools across the globe was one great opportunity to prove that we were ready for tougher challenges .Students from Class VIII to Class XI were part of it. Out of the five matches played the school won the series.. It was a Hall mark performance as we won the trophy again.
The star events and performers were
• CT MURUHAPPAN Of Class XI who hit the record of 97
• Mohith of Class XI with 55 not out
• Abhinav P. Panchal who set the record of picking up 6 wickets
• Muruhappan also won the title of Man of the Match
It was indeed a milestone success in the history of Grove as there were a lot of hurdles we had to pass through before we got there. Yet it proved to be fruitful as the entire team won the prestigious trophy, medals and certificates .
