ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION – KINDERGARTEN -11/9/2018
It was yet another day of celebration and fun fare for the Grove school as the Kindergarten celebrated their Annual Day with the theme “CELEBRATION “ . The entire ambience was bubbling with the theme with the stage background all set with the various festival props . The Principal addressed the gathering and read the annual achievements of the school which was then followed by a series of celebration.
The Pre KG children rocked the stage with their BIRDIE AND SHARK DANCE. The kindergarten was equally entertaining the audience with the theme on various Celebration such as Ganesh Chathurthi, Deepavali, Pongal , Holi , Onam , Christmas and ID. It was a spectacular feat indeed showcasing the Unity in Diversity theme. The dances weren’t less which included a folk dance and a rustic tamil dance. The audience were mesmerised and was spell bound by all the fun and frolic of this celebration.
The Plays were the high lights of the show. The play “ Reach the Summit “ which was conceived by our staff Mrs. Reena was a befitting tribute to our teacher Anu Vidya who lost her life recently in the Kuragini trekking mishap. The Grove school values their staff and through this play they made her realise her dream of reaching the summit. Kudos!!! To the teachers of the Kinderg arten and the art teacher for the fine execution of this flawless play.
The Tamil play was equally gripping as the play “Yaar Kutravali? “ was again a play promoting Environmental Awareness. The court scene was brought live on stage by the art team of the school and the students were so much at ease that the entire enactment proved to be a treat to the audience.
On a lighter note there was a cute performance by the students of Class I & II on celebrating friendship. It was the Colours of Friendship where the rainbow , sun and rain came alive on stage to entertain the audience and emphasize the importance of unity and harmony .
It all ended well with the parents who were visibly pleased by the children’s performance.
