On 2nd September The Grove School celebrated “ Ganesh Chaturthi” aesthetically. The celebration began with the chanting of slokas on Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the symbol of prosperity, wisdom and good fortune. Students sang a song and then followed, a speech on the significance of Ganesh Chathurti. It threw light on the Indian Culture and also emphasised on how such festivities instil happiness and joy in everyone’s mind. The Grove School not only celebrates calendrical festivals but also imparts awareness among the students by making them celebrate it eco-friendly. The Grove School students from Pre. K. G to X Std, with an artistic touch made Vinayaka idols by using clay and adorned them with eco-friendly decorative items. It was noteworthy to witness the students trying to bring in a change pragmatically by creating eco – friendly Vinayaka idols.
