Christmas celebrations- December 22, 2016

The joy of Christmas is togetherness and sharing which indeed reflected in the Christmas day celebrations at The Grove School. The day began with welcoming everyone with a colourful rangoli of Santa Claus, the Christmas tree and a snowman. The uniqueness of the programme was the presentation of the story of the birth of Jesus Christ in the form of Carols by the teachers. The teachers dressed to the theme of Christmas colours of red, green and white. The Christmas tree stood tall beautifully decorated with ornaments. The crib was well arranged with balloons and decorations all around it. The Santa’s entry was welcomed with excitement and enthusiasm by the children. The programme concluded with the song “We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year”. Cupcakes and chocolates were distributed to all the students as Christmas treats.
