Senior Annual day- February 3, 2017

The Grove School celebrated it’s Annual day on the 3rd of February commemorating Shakespeare’s 400th year. The chief guest for the evening was Mrs.Jayashree, Principal of Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School. Principal S.M.Sujatha read the annual report for the academic year 2016-2017 after which the Annual magazine was released by the chief guest and received by Ms.Bhargavi Devendra.

Four noted plays of Shakespeare, Hamlet, Midsummer night’s dream, Merchant of Venice and As you like it were enacted in Sanskrit, English, Tamil and Hindi respectively. Dance and music added colour and grandeur to the day. The yoga performance was pleasant and energising. The program ended with a heart warming good bye song by all the staff and students. 🙂
