Republic day celebrations- January 26, 2017
The 68th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and honor at The Grove School.The day began with flag hoisting by our President Dr.Nanditha Krishna. Following this, she urged the children to have a positive outlook and to contribute to the progress of the country in their own small way. The program witnessed patriotic songs sung by the children of both The Grove school and Saraswathi Kendra Learning Centre. Harshitha of Class VII gave a speech on the growth and progress of India. She also requested children to take a pledge to see our country grow and develop. Students of Saraswathi Kendra Learning Centre gave speeches on the Republic day in both English and Tamil. Chocolates were distributed to celebrate the day.
